For all those unfortunate souls who arent connected to coaches or other web sites it seems the Raf Champs dates have now changed to:
24 - 27 November 2009
It is good news for me the change, I have sent in a new holiday form to ensure that I have all the time off for the event and the booze up with my mate Sewy on the Friday night. _________________ Some people bring joy to a room: Some by entering others by leaving

For ALL Team members, whether you were involved with the RAF Championship event or not, a second place, silver medal finish only serves to illustrate the tangible improvement our club has made over the past twelve months. Rightly so, some new faces have made massive differences in key psitions, adding crucial strength both up front and along the 'd' line, but new faces have to feel comfortable and enjoy the style and structure of a team, this ultimately comes down to you. The final standing in this years competition is as a result of 12 months rebuilding, re-organising and an extreme amount of effort from EVRYBODY connected with the club, whether training, games or making the effort to get involved off the ice, every iota of effort has made THE difference.
Please take this as a pat on the back, and an extremely heartfelt well-done and thankyou from myself.
Trouble is however, is that we have now raised the bench mark, raised our aspirations and set a goal we have to better next year
So for this year, although improvement is there, the message remains the same as last year,
" The only way is up"! _________________ Once a king always a king, but once a knight's enough.
