Hey there guys,i have joined the social committee team at my work n we were trying to come up with ways of raising money for us,i brought up the idea if there were any ice hockey players or skaters at work that would like a friendly match against the Knights or do like a training session to help teach them?
I would like to know if you would like to help out with this? i would need to know if you would want to before i ask around the work etc as need to get names n numbers!

If there are any hockey players employed with Tesco, they are more than welcome to come along to training any Sunday evening.
A game however may be difficult, firstly, if it transpires you have enough people to form a team, then you would need to get them to register with the SIHA, £35 per player and £100 per club.
In regards to coaching, we have an extremely limited amount of spare equipment, which, as it was purchased by the RAF is not generally to be used by external agencies, so unless all your players have full kit, once again a game would be difficult.
As I said though, if there are any players, who for whatever reason didnt realise that Hockey was on at the rink, then they would be most welcome to join in at training, with aview to registering with the club.

Hockey for all on a sunday morning would be the way to take this idea forward. All the players would need would be a box and a stick the rest can be borrowed from the HFA store of equipment. You can contact Gary Clark or Andy Mack for more details. Numbers would be limited at any one time as we do not have a great supply of gear.

its ok now,i dont think the guys would be willing to splash out all that cash just for one game so will just forget it,it was a way of getin money for out store social fund for nites out!
